Ilse Schutz Memorial Prize

The Ilse Schutz Memorial Prize of $750 shall be awarded each year at the biannual meeting of the Alfred Schutz Circle for Phenomenology and Interpretive Social Science by the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc.  The award will be presented at the meeting for the best paper given by a Graduate Student or Faculty Member who has not yet reached the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Ilse Schutz Memorial Prize for Junior Scholars

awarded at the 5th Conference of the International Alfred Schutz Circle for Phenomenology and Interpretive Social Science Saint Louis University, Saint Louis, Missouri, USA, June 5-7, 2020

The Ilse Schutz Memorial Prize of $750 is awarded each year at the biannual meeting of the Alfred Schutz Circle for Phenomenology and Interpretive Social Science by the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc. The award is presented at the meeting for the best paper given by a Graduate Student or Faculty Member who has not yet reached the rank of Associate Professor. Papers may cover all topics within the Interpretive Paradigm in the tradition of Alfred Schutz.

Eligible for the Prize are junior scholars (graduate and PhD students, faculty members who have not yet reached the rank of Associate Professor). The deadline passed for the 2021 conference.
